Visual Arts - Elissa 4B ‘Be Respectful’ Elissa happily took on feedback to improve her collage technique in Art. She listened carefully and applied her new knowledge to great effect. What a fantastic role model!  Congratulations Elissa!

Performing Arts - Selihom 3B ‘Be a Learner’ Selihom is an enthusiastic learner who demonstrates pride in her learning. Well done for performing your groovy rhythmic pattern that incorporated chest beats, snaps and claps.

Chinese - Dustie FB ‘Be Respectful’ Dustie demonstrates our school value ‘Be Respectful’ by focusing on her work and being a role model for her cohort. She always puts her hand up before speaking. She also reminds her desk mates to stay quiet and do their work with nice language. Thank you and keep it up!

 

L.L.I. (Year 3) - Tram 3B ‘Be a Learner’ Tram, you have started L.L.I this term with great enthusiasm and I am very impressed with your reading and comprehension. Keep working hard and being a wonderful Literacy Learner!

L.L.I. (Year 2) - Isla 2A ‘Be a Learner’ Isla has been recognised for making a great start to the L.L.I. program. She works collaboratively with the other students in her reading group and enthusiastically contributes ideas to our book discussions. Keep up the great work, Isla.  🙂

 

6A - Tha Tha- Tha Tha consistently shows a deep dedication to her learning. She stays attentive during lessons, listens actively, and is gaining confidence when contributing her thoughts. Her curiosity and passion for knowledge contribute to a vibrant and positive classroom atmosphere. Tha Tha  tackles every challenge with a growth mindset and a positive outlook, always putting in her best effort. Great job, Tha Tha!

6B - Aya consistently demonstrates a strong commitment to her education. She remains focused during lessons, actively listens, and is always eager to share her ideas with her peers. Her curiosity and enthusiasm for learning help create a positive and engaging classroom environment. Aya approaches every task with a growth mindset and a can-do attitude, always striving to do her best. Keep up the amazing work, Aya — we’re so proud of you!

6C - Xavier for working hard and staying focused on his writing. Your pride in your work truly shows, and it’s not going unnoticed- keep up the excellent effort!

 

5B - Isam ‘be respectful’ for always demonstrating the school value of Respect to his peers, teachers and everyone around him. He does this by showing kindness at all times and using his manners. It’s so lovely having you in the classroom Isam!

5C - Jena ‘be respectful’ for assisting her peers with their learning and doing this with kindness. She was patient and took on the responsibility with eagerness. 

 

4A - Sahel 'Be a Learner' for working consistently and with determination on his Maths learning. He sought to improve his speed and accuracy with multiplication facts, and tackled challenges with a positive attitude. Excellent effort Sahel!

4B - Anthony for working hard on improving his listening and participation skills when learning with others. His actions help maintain a safe and focused learning environment for all. Well done Anthony!

4C - Christina ‘Be a Learner’ for working hard on improving her listening skills and participating during class discussions. Christina, I can see you are more focussed on your learning which is incredible to see. Keep it up!

 

3A - Tatum ‘Be a Learner’ Tatum showed pride in his learning and collaborated with his classmate during Mathematics this week to create a fantastic equation game board. Well done Tatum, keep up the great work! 

3B - Freya 'Be Respectful' for being inclusive and showing initiative when one of her peers needed support. Great to see you being such an understanding friend!

3C - Valerie 'Be a Learner' for consistently trying her best in all learning areas. It’s great to see her show resilience and persistence when working in class. Great work, Val!

 

2A- Adrian for consistently displaying high levels of commitment to his learning in mathematics. He tackles all tasks with enthusiasm and is always up for a challenge. Keep up the positive attitude, Adrian! Well done. 

2B - Liam for consistently being a respectful  member of the class. Liam should also be proud of his hard work and effort towards his learning. Keep it up!

 

1A - Tinsae is a new student to Deer Park West Primary School who has settled in smoothly. He consistently demonstrates respect toward others and shows a positive attitude to learning. We are thrilled to have you in our classroom!

1B - Steven ‘Be a Learner' consistently gives his best effort in everything he does. He works hard to challenge himself and improve in all areas of learning. Keep up the amazing work, Steven!

 

FA - Hussain showed great resilience during Literacy and Numeracy. He was an active participant and often practiced to improve his skills, such as writing his numbers and using his letter-sound knowledge to write CVC words.

FB - Ali has displayed great dedication to his learning this week. Ali was an active participant in all learning activities and discussions. He enthusiastically practised his golden words, heart words and addition skills independently. Well done Ali! 

FC - Evonne for consistently demonstrating our school value of ‘Be a Learner’. Evonne demonstrated effort and resilience when completing tasks. It is wonderful to see Evonne become increasingly confident in managing learning independently, and contributes more in whole class discussions. Keep up the great work!
