Vietnamese Families Meeting
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Vietnamese parents who attended our recent meeting with myself and Mr. Fielding, our Assistant Principal. During the session, we addressed questions about School Saving Bonus, shared valuable information about how to book Parent Teacher Interview times using Compass and how to download student reports.
We also met Alice from Kelly Club, our before and after school service provider. We are speaking with them about extending their service to include after school team sports starting in Term 3. Stay tuned for more information.
We truly appreciate your involvement and look forward to continuing to work together to support your children’s learning and wellbeing.
Our talented artists
I am proud to spotlight the incredible artwork created by our talented students! The student’s art reflects creativity and skill, and the displays in the corridor makes our school look like our very own art gallery. Thanks to Ms. Reid for her guidance and encouragement and inspiring the students.
National Simultaneous Storytime
This week our students joined thousands of children across the country for the National Simultaneous Storytime – a wonderful event that brings young readers together through the shared experience of a picture book, read aloud at the same time in schools, libraries and homes nationwide. It was lovely to share this experience with the Year 5 class today.
Events like this highlight the joy of reading and the power of storytelling to connect communities. We are proud to be part of the annual celebration of literacy.
I hope that families continue to take the opportunity to read nightly with their children and experience the joy of reading together.
Kind Regards,
