Stage 3 News

Stage 3 students and teachers have enjoyed an amazing Term 3. Our students have been engaging in exciting English, mathematics, science, history, dance and PDH lessons.

Some highlights from the term include our gymnastics lessons, the Colour Fun Run, learning our concert dances, and celebrating Book Week. We are incredibly proud of how our students continue to grow in confidence, independence, and kindness towards one another.

• Artificial Intelligence AI: Is it helpful or harmful? (The good and bad sides to AI) 
• The most important invention of the last 100 years… 
• Student’s choice - relating to world and global issues

💃 Western Liverpool Festival of Performing Arts – best of luck to all those performing.

🐝 Buzz Day – A fun picnic and games day for all who have been working hard this term.

Science - Natural Disasters

Stage 3 students are exploring natural disasters in Science, including building earthquake-resistant houses and investigating volcanoes. It’s been a hands-on and exciting learning experience!

Maths - measurement

Stage 3 students have been measuring capacities and learning about displacement in maths, using water experiments to deepen their understanding. It’s been a practical and engaging way to explore mathematical concepts!

Maths - exploring 3D objects

Stage 3 students are exploring 3D objects in maths, creating models and designing their nets to learn about shapes and structures. It's been a creative and hands-on experience!

Book Week

Stage 3 enjoyed the Book Week parade, with Year 6 celebrating their last one before moving on. Students also took part in a reading relay, visiting five classrooms and listening to five teachers share their favourite stories.

Year 5 Postcards

Year 5 students wrote postcards from the perspective of characters as part of their August and Jones English unit. It was a great way to bring their learning to life through creative writing!

Monty's Fun Run

Our Fun Run was a wonderful success! Students had a fantastic time running, laughing, and being showered in vibrant colours. It was great to see everyone enjoying the day, staying active, and celebrating school spirit together. Thank you to all who participated and helped make the event so memorable!
