Homestay Families Required: Host Students from Nagoya, Japan

The Humanities and Cultural Studies Department is excited to announce that 20 students from Nagoya, Japan, will again visit our community for a week during Term 3 as part of our long-standing cultural commitment with the City of Nagoya.

This is a fantastic opportunity for school families with children in Years 7-11 to engage in cultural exchange by hosting these students in their homes.

Why Host?

Hosting a student can be a rewarding experience.

It allows you to:

  • Share your family traditions and learn about Japanese culture firsthand.
  • Create lasting friendships and memories with students from abroad.
  • Enjoy the joy of welcoming an international guest into your home.

How to Get Involved

If you want to become a homestay family, please get in touch with Mr Forsyth at tforsyth@bmgs.nsw.edu.au.

Please join our School community in making this cultural exchange a memorable one.

Your hospitality can significantly impact these students' lives as they explore our community.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to share your home.
