Foundation News

Our Foundation students have had another fantastic week of learning, growing, and embracing new challenges! 

We have continued our literacy journey through learning about rhyming words and their syllables. Additionally, we have started exploring our first two sounds and their characters! It’s wonderful to see their enthusiasm grow as they build essential literacy skills.  

In numeracy we have had a focus on counting and ordering numbers to 10. 

Through hands-on activities and games, our students are developing strong numeracy skills.  

A highly anticipated moment arrived for our Foundation students when we visited the library and borrowed their very own book! 

It has been positive to see their excitement as they explore new stories and begin their journey as young readers. 

Next week marks the final Wednesday rest day for our Foundation students. 

We are excited to welcome them to full weeks of learning ahead! 

Over the past week we have had several award winners and birthdays. 

Congratulations to our Bernie Trophy winners Foundation Everitt in week 4 and Foundation Avery in week 5.
