From the Head of Ivanhoe Edge

Michelle van Beek, Head of Ivanhoe Edge

I’d like to extend a warm welcome to all our new families, who has once again grown in number; a testament to how the Edge Program is going from strength to strength.

This semester we have 140 students enrolled and we're running over 134 sessions a week across all campuses.

Students have settled in nicely to their sessions and have just finished their testing week in the gym. It has been so pleasing to see the connections students are forming in their training sessions and the camaraderie with each other.

Junior Edge Applications Now Open for Term 2

We are excited to see our numbers growing for Junior Edge. Junior Edge provides students with expert coaching in their activity of choice and weekly sessions to focus on the foundational skills required for efficient movement. The strength and conditioning  sessions for this age group are based on fun and engaging activities, while challenging and strengthening their bodies

Junior Edge applications are now open for Term 2 and will close on 4 April. Thank you to the families who have already submitted theirs. Current participants do not need to reapply as their enrolment will automatically rollover.

Ivanhoe Edge applications

If you missed the Semester application cut off for Ivanhoe Edge, don't worry as you can still join. We are still taking applications for Semester 1 and providing a pro-rata cost for the half-semester membership. To not miss out, make sure you apply before 4 April.

Testing and Reports

As part of Ivanhoe Edge, our strength and conditioning team under the guidance of Adam Hutton, complete a range of physical fitness tests and movement efficiency tests that allow them to then track progress of each student. Our skills coaches also provide their insights into how the students are tracking and the goals they are looking to achieve this term. Now that our testing is complete you can look forward to student reports being distributed in the last week of term.
