From the Principal
Dear families,
Last Friday staff from St Thomas More and St Paul's Monbulk participated in a Professional Development workshop with Maria Ruberto. Maria is a renowned psychologist and worked with the staff on up-skilling our knowledge in the areas of neuroscience. We thank Maria for her time and we are hoping to organise Maria to present to school parents in the future. I have attached a video in the "Wellbeing Information" tab for any parents interested in learning more.
Car park, this morning was a little bit busier in the carpark due to Ash Wednesday Mass at 9am in the Parish Church. I did notice a lot of over taking and pulling into the disabled parks to then reverse out. I will admit the majoirty of these drivers were from the parish, however it is a good time to remember to wait patiently for the car infront to move, please do not overtake.
Tomorrow we wave off our 3/4 students as they are heading to Sovereign Hill on a two day, one night camp. There is lots of excitement and a few but I am sure they will have an amazing time. Please be reminded students need their recess, lunch and a drink bottle for the first day. The Estimated time of arrival back at St Thomas More on Friday is 4:30pm-5:00pm, traffic dependent. We will keep families updated via Operoo texts.
Please be aware that the school is closed on Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th of March. Our Preps will commence full time schooling from Wednesday the 12th of March.
I have populated the "Important Dates and Events" tabs with dates for the rest of 2025. As you are aware schools are busy places and things can move, I will continue to update these dates as events are updated and cconfirmed.
