Please note - There will be no Assembly tomorrow afternoon in the Hall due to extreme heat.
Awards will be presented over the PA at 3.00pm. Apologies for the inconvenience.
Our staff is dedicated and committed to a low variance, knowledge-rich curriculum that fosters high achievement and meets the diverse learning needs of all students. The new learning programs implemented through Magnify are instrumental in helping us reach this objective. Students are engaging with InitiaLit, MultiLit, and OCHRE, while the Source of Life program provides consistent religious education across the Sandhurst Diocese. We recognise that adapting to change can be challenging, but our staff is committed to implementing these new programs in a way that best supports our learners. We encourage you to motivate your children to "give their best," as these programs are backed by strong evidence of effectiveness.
School Photos will be held this coming Monday, March 17. All students must wear their correct summer school uniform (not sports uniform). I understand Years 3-6 have PE on Monday, students may bring their runners with them in their bags. Apologies for the inconvenience.
If you require a family photo, orders must be completed on-line TOMORROW! When photos are available you will receive a code which will enable you to view and order school photos when they are processed.
Foundation Enrolments open soon for 2026. If you have a sibling beginning school next year, please contact the office for an enrolment form.
It is comforting to know we have so many families we can call on to volunteer at St Joseph's. It is a requirement of all schools that volunteers will undertake an induction process before being able to volunteer. Thank you to those who have completed this process. If you have not completed the Induction and wish to volunteer at St Joseph's in the future, please click on this link, St Joseph's Primary Volunteer Induction.
Note: All volunteers also require a current Working with Children Check, which needs to be presented to the office for our record.
The Feast of St Joseph, our Patron Saint is celebrated on Wednesday March 19.
Liturgies will be held in classrooms. The tradition continues (est. 2022) of competing for the coveted ‘Golden Hammer’
The focus for the session is on fun and participating. The children will participate in fun activities in family groups across the school from 12.30pm.
Children may wear their house colours; a shirt, ribbon, socks etc. to get into the spirit.
Reville: Red Curtin: Blue Halifax: Yellow
Families are more than welcome to join in the fun.
Thank you for your support with this new initiative. The students have responded positively to the changes regarding their devices. Our procedures are aligned with those set out by CESL.
I appreciate your support with this change.
