Foundation News

Last Wednesday we welcomed the Foundation students to school for their first Wednesday at school. No more rest days from now on!
Students were very happy to complete their first Digi-Tech lesson of the year.
We are continuing to build some wonderful literacy skills in the classroom.
Students have been engaging in learning centres focusing on rhyming, syllables and the sounds /m/, /s/ and /t/.
In numeracy we have been having lots of fun collecting data and creating graphs.
We have created graphs showing our classes different eye colours, favourite pets and favourite colours.
We have also been focusing on patterns!
Students have been exploring making patterns in different ways, such as actions, colours, shapes, sizes and more.
Over the past week we have had several award winners and birthdays.
Congratulations to our Bernie Trophy winners Foundation Carnovale in week 6 and joint winners, Foundation Lancaster and Foundation Everitt in week 7.
