This week, Ms Roberts has asked children in Years 3-6 who are interested in participating in the Multicultural Public Speaking Competition to see her and obtain the information and topics from her. Children write their speeches at home with the support of family members and Ms Roberts also offers support during break times at school. The Multicultural Public Speaking Competition consists of a prepared speech and an impromptu speech, which is an element Ms Roberts works with the children on at school. Thankyou Ms Roberts for the work you are doing with our children.

Tomorrow we have 33 children representing our school at the District Swimming Carnival. Mrs Francis will be our team manager, and children should go directly to her when they arrive at the pool. Children are required to sit with Mrs Francis throughout the day so she can ensure all children are marshalled for their events. Mrs Mooney and Mr Milne will also be at the carnival in official roles.

Congratulations to the following children who are our District Swimming representatives; Lachlan Kelly, Zaylie O’Connor, Connor Hunt, Abbie Emanuel, Natalia Heiner, James Hollier, Patrick Muldoon, Ashwin Buttsworth, Lawson Glasgow, Ethan Jones, Lila Kolkman, Pearl Saini, William Skein, Ellia Surawski, Lilly Turnbull, Jasmyn Ferrier, Lilly Guihot, Aria Hegvold, Adeline Hunter, Addison Jones, Zara O’Connor, Frankie Shoemark, Isla Barnes, Mia Barnett, Harvey Glasgow, Jack Hair, Charlotte Hollier, Archer Kolkman, Ewan Long, Heidi Lyle, Charlotte Morris, Jonty Rue, and Amelia Simeonidis.

Parent Teacher Interviews – Thankyou to all our parents who have attended the Support class interviews yesterday and today. It is such a wonderful opportunity to meet with parents early in the year. A reminder that parents can book Parent Teacher meetings through the Sentral Parent Portal. For parents who cannot access the Sentral Parent Portal, we ask you to please contact the office at school.
