NAPLAN & The Library

With NAPLAN exams taking place for Years 3 and 5, library lessons have temporarily moved into the classroom. For Weeks 7 and 8, Mr. Matthews will be visiting classrooms to teach the technology portion of the lesson to the pods affected by the NAPLAN exams.

Students who bring their library bags can still borrow books, so please encourage your children to bring their bags and continue enjoying their reading!

Book Club - Issue 2

Our first Book Club of the year has gone out! It’s always a huge job, and Mr. Matthews is incredibly grateful to have the support of a parent volunteer.

With Rosemary moving on from Chatswood Public School, we’re excited to introduce our new parent volunteer, Isabelle Shin. Isabelle has been involved with Book Club since 2017 and has now taken on the role of organiser for this year. If you see her walking around with piles of Scholastic boxes, please give her a warm welcome!

Scholastic Book Club - Issue 2

Issue 2 catalogues were delivered to classrooms this week.

Important Note for Issue 2:Suzanne Collins' highly anticipated fifth book, Sunrise on the Reaping, is part of a global release with an international embargo. The book will be released in Australia at 12:01 AM on March 19, 2025. Once the embargo lifts, we will send out all orders. Thank you for your patience!

The catalogue makes for great weekend reading, and the weekend is the perfect time to place your orders.

Did you know?15% of the money you spend through Book Club is returned to our school as rewards, which are used to purchase fabulous new books for our library. Thank you for your orders and support!
