Applications to move from primary school into high school in 2026 are now open.
In NSW Government schools, applying to move from primary school to high school is a 2-step process:
The first step is to complete a Moving to high school expression of interest. When completing this form, you will be able to indicate which school(s) you would like your child to attend in Year 7.
The second step is to submit an enrolment application, which will be issued to you by the high school after they have assessed your expression of interest.
If you do not intend for your child to attend a government school in Year 7 in 2026, please fill out the Place Not Required form.
See the link below that includes all the required links to forms:
Submissions must be entered by Friday 28 March 2025.
We are pleased to announce the commencement of our scripture classes last week.
Parents who wish to make changes to their child's scripture class are encouraged to contact the school office via email. Once your request has been processed, the classroom teacher will inform your child of the new arrangements.
We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our scripture teachers who generously volunteer their time to impart valuable teachings to our students. Thank you for your dedication and commitment!
Harmony Day is part of Harmony Week which celebrates Australia’s amazing cultural diversity. During this week, our school will celebrate inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for all Australians, from the traditional custodians of the land to those who have come from many countries around the world.
On Friday 21 March, Chatswood Public School will be celebrating Harmony Day as part of Harmony Week. Students and staff are invited to come to school dressed in cultural clothing or orange. No gold coin donation is required.
Friday 21 March, get ready for an unforgettable experience! The 'Lion Dance Kids' performers will dazzle the entire school and community, followed by engaging workshops for all students.
Parents and caregivers, don't miss out - join us and celebrate in traditional wear!
With the motto ‘Everyone belongs’, Harmony Week encourages us to appreciate our differences and similarities, promote inclusiveness, and show mutual respect for everyone, regardless of race, colour, religion, or background.
