'True Crime' STEM

Year 9 Science - Scenes of Crime

Our Year 9 STEM students recently completed a real-life crime scene simulation. This hands-on learning experience helped them understand the world of crime scene investigation, fingerprint analysis, and forensic techniques.

A recent visit from Sergeant Stephen Slade and leading Senior Constable Kelly Loth, Senior Scenes of Crime Officer and Fingerprint Technician, was a valuable part of their simulation preparation. The session allowed students to ask questions and learn about the practical applications of forensic science, making it an exciting and hands-on experience.

A big thank you to our dedicated Science faculty for making experiences like this possible.
