Open Morning

Our first Junior School Open Morning for 2026 will take place next Tuesday morning, from 9.30am to 11.00am. Visitors will join us at Myrniong for tours of the Junior School and Early learning Centre.  We are proud of our educational offering, and I am confident visitors will be impressed with the calm and focused atmosphere of our classrooms, expert teaching and an energetic and engaging student body.

Please share this date with any family or friends that you have considering schools.

Junior School Captains Corner

Our 2026 School Captains reflect on their start to the year.

  • Anika - ‘I have enjoyed running Assemblies, speaking in public and getting to know all the new students in our school.’

  • Thomas - ‘I have enjoyed the energetic atmosphere of the House Swimming and Athletics. My favourite was House Athletics. I won the discus with a throw of 23 metres.’

A Different Approach

A playful mindset is a great asset. In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, we often get into the habit of defaulting to ‘I have to…

I have to pick the children up from footy training.

I have to organise the lunches.

I have to supervise my children’s homework.

I have go to H.I.L.A.C on a Friday evening to watch basketball.

Growth coach Ben Crowe advocates shifting from:

‘I have to…’    to     ‘I get to…’

This mindset shift transforms our outlook by focusing on the privilege of being able to be present and participate in our children’s lives.

I get to go to footy training and support my children.

I get to organise lunches and engage with my children.

I get to supervise my children’s homework and share in their learning journey.

I get to go to H.I.L.A.C on a Friday evening and watch my children play a sport they love.

Ramadan

We have families across our Junior and Senior School campuses celebrating Ramadan. It commenced around 18 February and finishes this Friday. Ramadan is the ninth month on the Islamic calendar, which marks important holidays and events for Muslims (people who practice Islam). During Ramadan people fast, or refrain from eating and drinking, while it’s light outside. Once the sun sets, families meet for big meals. People also have a morning meal before the sun rises. Ramadan is a time to focus on faith and also perform generous acts. Many fast to remind themselves about those in the world who don’t have enough to eat.
