Another busy and successful term so far, with our District Athletics team representing Oatlands in the 2024 Edwin Flack District Athletics Trials. On Tuesday the 13th August, we had 57 students in grades 4, 5 and 6 compete in various track and field events at Casey Fields. Our athletes did an amazing job representing Oatlands in their events, supporting their peers and demonstrating great sportsmanship.

 Against some very tough competition from the 7 other schools, Oatlands won the event overall with the most points! What an achievement! As a result of our success the following 29 students are progressing to the Casey North Division Athletics event on September 18th. We wish them all the very best of luck.

Some classes have been participating in Golf clinics over the last few weeks, which the students are thoroughly enjoying. Their skills are improving with each session and we may even have some future professional Golfers on our hands! If students would like to continue to learn how to play Golf, they can simply google ‘My Golf’  to find out more information about the National Junior Program and where they can learn.
