Kitchen

The kitchen has been a busy place this fortnight.  

 

Our grade's 5 & 6 Extended Cooking Program were busy once again with the grade 6s baking Cheese Souffle's while the grade 5s baked Pear Pies and Mini Shepherd Pies.

 

Our Prep grades were busy making iced donuts. First they baked the donuts then decorated with chocolate or strawberry icing and sprinkles.

 

Our grade 5s combined cooking with science when they baked boiled chocolate cake. They were looking at irreversible changes in cooking such as once you break an egg it's structure changes and can not go back to how it was.
