Music Matters
Congratulations to:
- Our Year 12 HSC musicians and actors who provided such fabulous entertainment for their audiences (fans?!) who came to support them at the ‘Splinters, Splashes, Stage, Snaps, Stories and Sounds’ evening last Thursday night. This was wonderful preparation for their HSC practical exams this week (Drama) and next (Music). Thank you also to our incredible ensemble members Mr Matt Thomson (keyboards), Mr Brendan Jones (guitar), Mr Steve Cummins (double bass/bass guitar), Mr Tim Bridgen (drums) and Ms Stella Waddington (piano) who accompanied our musicians with great professionalism. We are extremely lucky to have them supporting our students. Members of our Live Production crew were able to put their skills to the test with sound and lighting, with special thanks to Year 9 Elective Music student Noah Watson, for operating the mixing desk throughout the evening.

- Our Junior, Intermediate and Senior Guitar Ensembles, under the guidance of Mr Shane Cranney, who entertained the fathers at breakfast on Friday.
- Mr Ryan Balboa for providing beautiful singing at the Junior School Father's Day liturgy last Thursday.
