Year 3/4 Report

Welcome to another exciting Term in 3/4!

Literacy

This term in Literacy, Grade 3/4 students will be exploring and writing our own poems. Students will also be exposed to procedure writing, where students will be participating in different experiments and experiences and writing the procedure that allowed this. 

In Reading, students will focus on a variety of skills such as inferring, predicting, critiquing to assist in their overall understanding of the texts they read. 

Numeracy

In Numeracy this term, students will focus on their Multiplication and Division skills. Students will explore a variety of skills and strategies to solve multiplication and division problems. From here the Grade 3/4s will apply their new knowledge to a variety of mathematical areas including volume and area. Students will complete a number of engaging, challenging tasks and games to support their learning. 

Inquiry 

In Inquiry this term, students will finalise their understanding of 'How to be Safe Online'. Students will finalise their their understandings of online safety by creating a 'How to be Safe Online' project to be shared around the schools.
