Performing Arts

Term 2 in Performing Arts has started off with a bang, with the magnificent Melbourne Symphony Orchestra visiting our school! Each year level participated in a workshop with musicians and a conductor from the MSO, listening to and learning about the instruments, their instrument families, and the music of Modest Mussorgsky. It was an amazing experience for students being able to watch and learn from such talented musicians. 

In the classroom we will be consolidating this learning by exploring more of the instruments and music of the orchestra, and practicing playing instruments together with the teamwork and communication that the MSO demonstrated to us.
