We had a successful AGM with some new parents joining us on Monday 22 April 2024 for the PFA AGM.

At the AGM, office-bearers of the PFA 2024 committee were elected (listed below):

President: Aban Tengra

Vice President: Yara Khedr

Treasurer: Hilary Roche

Secretary: Carol Niemes

School Council Representative: Smreeti Khatter

Newsletter Coordinator: Afshan Sajid

Events Coordinator: Bhagwan (Bob) Jagasia

All others attending expressed their interest to become General Members of the committee.

Next Meeting - 27 May 2024

The PFA will hold the next monthly meeting on Monday 27 May 2024 at 7.00pm in The John Landy Centre. If any new members of the school community would like to join, please email Aban at aban2309@yahoo.com and we will very happily add you on to the distribution list.

Also, a friendly reminder to the new members who have joined this year, if you do not possess a WWCC (for volunteers) please apply for it and once obtained, forward it to Aban on the above email address.

Bake Sale at the Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences

The Bake Sale organised by the Parents & Friends Association on Tuesday 26 March was a great success.

The PFA would like to say a big thank you to the entire EDSC community for your support in buying all the baked goodies and hot cross buns.

Thank you to our own talented PFA bakers for the supply of delicious lemon slices, cupcakes, cake and sandwiches.

A very big thanks to all the lovely student and parent volunteers who contributed their time to help us and for working tirelessly throughout the entire afternoon until the end of the night to keep the stall going until we sold everything we had prepared.

Eid Greetings

A belated “Eid ul Fitr Mubarak” to the Muslim community who celebrated this festival on 10 April 2024. This festival marks the end of a whole month of dawn to sunset fasting.

PFA Raffle

The PFA Raffle is now in its 4th year. This year our raffle is bigger and better with special prizes. We are launching a special raffle to mark EDSC’s 50th Anniversary. We endeavour to offer you more prizes to be won.

Bunnings Sausage Sizzle

The PFA will be organising another Bunnings Sausage Sizzle at Bunnings Doncaster soon.

Please watch this space for the confirmed date. This is a great fundraising opportunity. Please visit the stall and support us.
