Religious Education News - Sacramental Program

Our Sacramental Program will continue shortly with Eucharist. Children who have completed Confirmation and Reconciliation are invited to participate. Next week on Tuesday 23/4/2024 there will be a parent meeting here at St Patrick’s Primary where parents can come to enrol their children and find out more about the program.  You can attend at either 9:00am or 3:30pm in the new Madden Room. At this meeting you will receive a folder with four student booklets and a parent booklet.

Students will be taken through the program at St Patrick’s Primary School by Kerin Johnson with parents being able to support the learning at home. The Eucharist booklets can be taken home to support the learning, and then returned to school for the next lesson. Each lesson will take place on a Friday after recess.

During the Eucharist program there are 3 weekend Masses that students are to attend with their families either Saturday 5.30pm, Sunday 10.30am or Sunday 5.00pm.

Cross Country

On Monday around 70 St Pats students ran at the Eureka Cross Country event held at Fed Uni.

It was fantastic to see the excitement and enthusiasm for running amongst our students

They all did a great job tackling the very hilly course.

Well done!!

Congratulations to Mia Barclay, Layla Simpkin, Kitty Ford, Jackson Knight, Lachie Tehan and Kohda Romien who finished in the top 12 of their age groups and qualified to run at the Greater Western Region event on May 27th.

Thank you to all the teachers and parents for supporting the kids on the day. It was a very enjoyable event.

Sovereign Hill - Junior School

On Wednesday the Junior Students went to Sovereign Hill to see what live was like in the 1850's.

We had a great time gold panning, watching the Blacksmith, making candles, browsing the shops and playing on the playground. We even got to try a raspberry drop back at school.

A big thankyou to our parent helpers for making our day a huge success!

After School Netball Competition

Our netballers are having a great time representing our school at after school netball!

Thank you to all families who are helping to make it a success!
