Social Skills Holiday Program

South Melbourne (Skinners) Adventure Playground

The Adventure Playgrounds offer outdoor play opportunities and an element of risky play in a fun, inclusive and natural environment. While they offer supervised programs to Adventure Playground members aged 5 to 12 years, the playground is also accessible to children and families.

Members of the playground are offered the following programs: 

• Breakfast Club: 7.30am to 8.25am Monday to Friday  
• Boys Group: 5.30 to 7.00pm Wednesdays 
• Girls Group: 5.30 to 7.00pm Thursdays  
• School Holiday Programs: 12pm (midday) to 4.30pm Monday to Friday

Join us every Thursday evening for an epic gaming session at Emerald Hill Library. Think Mario Kart Tournaments, Just Dance, VR and more!

When: Every Thursday - 4pm to 6pm

Where: Emerald Hill Library, South Melbourne

Get Out of Town (GOOT) - School Holidays Family Program

Want to enjoy fun day activities with your children this school holidays and are on a low income?

Get Out Of Town (GOOT) is a FREE school holiday excursion program for disadvantaged families.

Our program brings together low income, isolated families and helps them to experience exciting, enjoyable holiday outings without the financial strain usually involved. All our outings are free and some meals are included. Get Out Of Town organises three day activities per school holiday period. Past trips have included the Bowling, Circus Oz, & Water Parks.

All participants must reside within the City of Port Phillip and have a Centrelink Concession Card.
