Welcome to Term 2!

In English, we have been learning five ways to spell the sound /o/, as in: blow, foe, so, home and goat. Students are continuing to focus on learning how to correctly structure sentences using nouns, verbs and adjectives. 

In Maths, students have been collating data by counting skittles and recording what colours were found in the packets. We have explored growing patterns, learning that patterns can repeat or grow. Students were able to identify the rule for a growing pattern and were able to create the next step in a growing pattern.

We read the story "Anzac Ted" in the lead up to Anzac Day. Students used adjectives to describe Ted and write sentences. They enjoyed creating a directed drawing of Ted.
