Principal's Message

Mother's Day stall

Mother's Day this Sunday, we have our stall on tomorrow. All students will have the chance to purchase a gift for their special person. Gifts will range from $3 - $10. If children could please bring their money in an envelope so they don't lose it.

Cold Weather

Yes, the mornings are getting rather cold these days! Children can purchase warm beanies from the school office for $10. These have the school logo on them and are good quality. You can also purchase plain navy beanies from Target, Kmart or BigW. Coats may be worn on top of school jumpers to keep children extra warm in the colder months.

Uniform Sale

It was great to see so many parents at our recent uniform sale. We often have items that are donated to the school for resale and it is an ideal opportunity for parents to purchase some items at a very low cost. What does concern me though, is the large number of items that come from Lost Property where no one seems to notice them missing- new jackets and jumpers that are not named and not collected. Please name all items so that they can be returned to the owners.

Multicultural Day $5

As part of our Multicultural Day during Education Week, students will have the opportunity to engage in an African Drumming performance from Melbourne Djembe. Students will have the opportunity to witness a live performance of 3 drummers featuring Fred Ni Addo from Ghana. The performance will include drums, percussion and singing/dancing involvement for all students. It will be an amazing day with lots of great and interesting activities planned for the whole day. Please ensure you have signed the permission form and paid the $5 charge.

Attitude to School Survey

We value student voice as a means to improving student engagement, wellbeing and quality instruction and are conducting a survey to find out what your child thinks of their school.

The AtoSS is an annual student survey offered by the Department of Education to assist schools to gain an understanding of students' perceptions and experience of school. Students will be asked about their thoughts and feelings in relation to their school, their learning, peer relationships, resilience, bullying, health and wellbeing, physical activity, and life in general.

Students in Grades 4 ,5 and 6 will have the opportunity to participate.

Prep Enrolments 2025- Very Important

Please, if you have a sibling of a current student needing enrolment next year we ask that the documentation is submitted as soon as possible to give us a clear indication of potential numbers and class sizes. We have limited spaces in Prep and the waiting list is becoming longer by the day.

Many thanks

Jenny
