Out Of The Classroom

Marrung Mob Celebration
A small group of Birranga College students attended Marrung Mob Celebration Day at Cranbourne Secondary College, joining students from across the Casey South network for a day of cultural celebration, connection and learning.
Students enjoyed cultural performances, traditional games and interactive activities, learning more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and traditions while building connections with students from other schools.
It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate culture, strengthen community connections and foster respect, understanding and belonging.
A big thank you to Cranbourne Secondary College and everyone involved in organising this wonderful event!
Lunch Time Clubs
At the beginning of the year and even last year our parent-carers community were keen to ensure that their local school supported many key activities and learning outside the regular curriculum. The staff at the college were also keen to provide many opportunities for students.
We have been very proud of being able to run programs/activities this term such as a continuation of our Challenge & Enrichment program, music program, art club, dance group, Taiko drumming and a few other programs.
The college would like to acknowledge the work of all these staff in making these opportunities for students possible and really continuing the promise we made our community. There is no doubt that our staff continue to create a sense of Belonging.
