Discover Our Library

We’re looking ahead to another busy and exciting term in the Birranga College Library! We're thrilled to be welcoming English classes into the library for regular sessions, giving students valuable opportunities to browse the collection, discover new books and borrow something that catches their eye. It's wonderful to see more students becoming familiar with the library and everything it has to offer.

Book Club is still going strong, meeting every Thursday lunchtime. We're always looking for new members, and everyone is welcome to come along, whether they're an avid reader or just beginning to discover a love of books!

Our enthusiastic Yearbook Committee has also been hard at work, and we're getting closer to bringing together the very first Birranga College Yearbook. We're looking forward to sharing the finished product with our school community.

Homework Help continues every Wednesday after school this term, until 4pm. Students are welcome to drop into the library for a quiet, supportive space to complete homework, study or catch up on schoolwork.

Finally, a reminder that students can access the library website (https://au.accessit.online/BRR12/) to search our collection, reserve books and check their current loans. It's a great way to explore what's available, even when they're not physically in the library! Students can also see which eBooks and audiobooks are available through OverDrive.

We're looking forward to continuing to build a vibrant, welcoming library as the year draws to a close.
