Important Information
Parents-Carers will be reminded about dates below via Compass, however the College would like to provide some early notification.
Many families take up the opportunity to have a long weekend to go away in the lead up to Melbourne Cup. The pre–cup Day Monday (Monday 2nd November) will see no regular classes running for students – instead we are running an alternate program for attending students. The food truck will not be visiting the college on this day.
The Year 7 academic year (when students complete their Year 7 curriculum) will end on Thursday 19th November, with the following day being a student's free day (Friday 20th November) as teachers will be having their professional practice day where staff use this time to assess student learning, undertake reporting tasks and future planning.
On Monday 23rd November, all Year 7 students will begin their 2027 Year 8 curriculum – this is known as the ‘Headstart period’ as this is to support a transition into the Year 8 and keep student's engaging in their learning. This runs over a two-week period leading into the end of year activities days, which parents-carers have already received correspondence on.
