Christine Budgeon
Hello and welcome! My name is Mrs Christine Budgeon, and I am very excited to be your child’s Year 1/2 teacher this year. This is my second year of teaching, and I feel grateful to support students as they grow in confidence, develop new skills, and experience success in their learning.
I enjoy creating a positive and welcoming classroom where students feel comfortable to be themselves and are encouraged to try their best. Building strong relationships with students and families is very important to me, and I look forward to getting to know you throughout the year.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my dog Sebastian and my cat Gus, playing video games such as Minecraft, and learning new and interesting facts through trivia.
I believe that every child is capable of achieving great things when they feel safe, supported, and valued. My goal is to create a nurturing learning environment where students are encouraged to challenge themselves, build independence, and develop a love of learning.
I am passionate about helping students recognise their strengths and celebrate their progress. By setting clear expectations and providing encouragement, I aim to support each child to reach their full potential both academically and socially.
Bachelor of Education P - 12 at Victoria University
I also spent 9 years in Early Childhood.
I am committed to continuing my professional learning and growing as an educator so I can provide the best possible support for my students.

Please feel welcome to reach out if you have any questions or important information to share. Working together helps create the best learning experience for your child.
