About Me

Hello and welcome! My name is Mr Harry, and I feel truly excited and honoured to be your child’s Year 1/2 teacher this year. Teaching is something I genuinely love, and I feel privileged to support students as they grow in confidence, independence, and their love of learning.

I grew up overseas and speak three languages, which has given me a deep appreciation for different cultures, experiences, and perspectives. 

Building strong relationships with students and families is very important to me, and I look forward to getting to know each child and celebrating their unique strengths.

My goal is to create a classroom where every student feels safe, supported, and valued, and where they are encouraged to try their best every day. I feel grateful to be part of this school community and am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning together.

Teaching Philosophy

I believe that all students can and will succeed when they feel happy, safe, and connected to their classroom. Every child brings their own strengths and potential, and it is my role to nurture these so they can grow as confident and capable learners.

I work hard to create a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to be curious, resilient, and proud of their efforts. In our classroom, we focus on respect, kindness, and supporting one another so that everyone feels a strong sense of belonging.

Clear routines and high expectations help students feel secure and ready to learn. I am passionate about developing strong literacy and numeracy skills while also supporting each child’s wellbeing. My goal is for every student to feel confident to challenge themselves and to look forward to coming to school each day.
