Duke of Edinburgh Award

From the Duke of Edinburgh Award Leader
Kick off the new school year by challenging yourself, learning new skills, and making a real difference in your community! Year 9 students and anyone aged 14 and above are invited to join the Duke of Edinburgh Award and start an adventure you won’t forget.
The Duke of Edinburgh Award is a prestigious program that helps young people grow through Volunteering, Physical Activity, Skills Development, and an Adventurous Journey. Students can choose from three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold, each offering exciting challenges and unforgettable experiences. Gold participants also take part in a Residential Project.
Past participants have explored the outdoors, learned practical skills, helped local charities, and built lasting friendships. Completing the Award is not only rewarding but also helps students develop confidence, resilience, and leadership skills that will benefit them in school and beyond.
Sign up now at: dukeofed.com.au and join a weekly meeting every Friday at lunch in DG5 to learn more, plan your activities, and get started on your Duke of Edinburgh journey. For more information, feel free to email dukeofed@tphs.nsw.edu.au.
Congratulations to Hayden and Ashley (CG11), who achieved their Silver Awards, and Myla (C10), who achieved her Bronze Award this past month.
