P&C Updates

We hope you're having a wonderful term! We have a few exciting updates to share with you from the P&C.

🧥 SECOND-HAND UNIFORM SHOP — WINTER CLOTHING DONATIONS NEEDED
We are currently in need of donations of good quality second-hand winter clothing for our uniform shop. If your child has grown out of any winter uniform items that are still in good condition, we'd love to give them a new home!
We also have a generous supply of red polo shirts available right now — so if your family needs any, please come and see us!

We are incredibly proud to share what your P&C contributions have made possible for our students this year. It truly takes a village, and we are grateful for every single family who has supported us!
In 2026, the Applecross P&C has funded:

✅ Contributions to Core Camp for Year 10 students
✅ Wellness Day activities
✅ 11 tables and seats for the Year 9 area
✅ 2 water fountains outside the Music building and Gardeners Shed
✅ An Ultimaker 3D Printer for students
✅ Contributions towards Year 11 and 12 revision classes
✅ Sound and lighting for the Djilba, Djeran, Paragon and Under the Stars concerts

We are so proud of everything our school community has achieved together — these investments make a real difference to the daily life and wellbeing of every student at Applecross.
🎯 DADS NEEDED — YEAR 7 & 8 LASER TAG EVENT!
We are organising an exciting Laser Tag event for our Year 7 and 8 students and we need your help to make it happen! We're looking for a few enthusiastic dads of Year 7 and 8 students who are willing to roll up their sleeves and help us organise and run this event.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved, have a bit of fun and make some great memories with the kids. We can't run this event without you — so if you're keen, please get in touch with us as soon as possible!

🚗 PARKING UPDATE — MELVILLE CITY COUNCIL REVIEW
We know that parking around the school is a topic close to many of your hearts, and we want to keep you in the loop on some updates provided by councillors at our last meeting.
The City of Melville is currently undertaking a review of parking arrangements in the streets surrounding both Ardross Primary School and Applecross Senior High School. The results of the review are expected to be shared with the community in December — we will pass these on to you as soon as we have them.
If you have any feedback or concerns about parking in the area please pass these onto Melville Council to incorporate in their review.
