Term Three Notes from the Music Department

Applecross SHS Music students participate in performances throughout the school year, and one of our major events was held in the middle of Term 2, on 22 May. The Djeran Concerts showcased the talents of over 140 performers in:

• Cygnet String Orchestra – conducted by Ms Joanna Wolny
• Intermediate Concert Band – conducted by Mrs Christine Stapleton
• Junior Concert Band – conducted by Mr Chris Booth

• Junior Guitar Ensemble – conducted by Mr Paul Hines

Looking ahead, Term Three is HUGE for the Music Program, with many festival performances by our ensembles, along with the following Music Department events to which everyone is welcome:

Paragon 2026, our annual Senior Music Student showcase on Friday 14 August.
