St A's Talent Show
One of the many talented acts in talent show was Birthday Cake, a rap group made up of William B, Eamon M, Hudson M and Landon C. Their song, 'The Real Frankston Bruv', is an Eminem parody of The Real Slim Shady with original lyrics they wrote themselves. They had the fantastic experience of recording themselves in a real live recording studio and making a CD! These CDs will be available for purchase at the office for $5 each with all proceeds going toward the school charity. We'd love it if you'd support these boys and your school.

Thank you to the dad of Stella in Grade 3, Luke Vearing for donating the winning vouchers to the Talent show totaling $350! This was incredibly geneorus and for that we are very grateful!!
Students VS Staff Soccer
Teachers Triumph in Thrilling Match Against Year 6 Students!
In what has become an annual tradition, the Teachers vs Year 6 Students Soccer match was held under sunny skies and with high spirits. The game, full of energy, skill, and determination, ended with the teachers narrowly securing a 3-2 victory in a closely contested battle.
From the opening whistle, the Year 6 team showcased their enthusiasm and teamwork, however a long range shot from Ms Brough secured an early lead for the teachers and caught the students off guard. The students, responded quickly, using their experience to level the score with a strategic play.
The second half saw both teams stepping up their game. The Year 6 students displayed impressive dribbling and defensive tactics, pushing the teachers to their limits. However the teachers managed to pull ahead with a stunning precision shot by Ms. Macris, bringing the score to 2-1.
The teachers continued their run with Mr Todd again placing the ball in the back of the net. Not to be outdone, the Year 6 team rallied and with a fantastic team effort scored another goal closing the gap.
Both teams received cheers and applause from the enthusiastic crowd of students and staff who gathered to watch the spectacle.
The match wasn’t just about the scoreline; it highlighted the camaraderie and fun spirit shared between the teachers and students.
The Year 6 students can hold their heads high for their remarkable performance, while the teachers will savor their victory until the next installment of this much-loved event in 2025.
