DATES FOR DECEMBER - UNIFORM CHANGES

NEARLY THE END OF PRIMARY SCHOOL FOR OUR YEAR 6 STUDENTS

It is such as busy and exciting final term for our senior students in Year 6 as they complete their primary schooling. In many ways these students have 'outgrown' the Primary routine and are looking forward to the new challenges and routines provided by the High School setting.

However, it is important not to look too far ahead and forget to cherish what is happening in the present. With only 1 week left, we encourage our Year 6 students to continue to work hard, respect the teachers and their peers who have travelled the Primary journey with them and to enjoy, for what may be the last time, the friendship and opportunities that have made their Year 6 experience so memorable.

SCHOOL FEES

A gentle reminder that school fees must be paid in full by now. Balance of School Fees owing can be accessed on Compass.  If you are having trouble accessing Compass and/or the fees tab, please contact our office staff.  Thank you for your support.

SCHOOL DROP OFF AND PICK UP SAFETY

A friendly reminder to adhere to safety measures when dropping off and picking up your children from school. Please especially make sure that you are mindful of not parking in driveways or allocated bus zones and only using the designated car drop off/pick up area if you are not parking your car.

PUPIL FREE DAY

Our final Pupil Free Day for this year is Friday 20th December.

YEAR 6 YEAR BOOK

Please note that the Year 6 Year Book is currently being compiled. We have photographs including students other than Year 6 (eg. buddies) throughout the Year Book and we need to make all aware that if you do not wish to have your child's photograph appear in the Year Book then you must notify the school as soon as possible.

VERITAS AWARDS

Our Veritas Awards stem from our school motto - ‘Veritas’ - meaning truth. The Veritas Award is awarded to students who have been consistently displaying citizenship, leadership and/or Christian Living. Students receiving a Veritas Award are those students who have displayed our ‘Rules for Living’ in their everyday interactions. Congratulations to

Isla Single, Lincoln Heywood, Lucas Attard, Ella Gaffney, Rose McNair, Evleen Kaur, Reese Moore, Aarmaan Sandhu, Stella Clery, Georgia Edgecock, Jacey Poulton, Lucas Do, Liam Roworth, Hallie Campbell, Artie Walker, Mia Robinson, Aggie Daly and Isabella Harding-Brown.

LEAVING OR RELOCATING?

Planning for the 2025 school year is well underway. Could we ask any families who may be relocating and will not be attending St Nicholas School next year to contact the office staff as soon as possible.

SUPERVISION OF STUDENTS

All parents need to be aware, our supervision of students

does not begin until 8.15am each day.

St Nicholas School gates will not be open until the arrival of the first school bus at approximately 8.10am. It is not appropriate for children to be at school before this time with no supervision.

If your child/ren require care before 8.15am you may like to consider before school care here at school with Esteem.
