WELCOME TO GPS PFA 2025

It's great to be back! We already have so much going on behind the scenes and lots to get excited about. On this page in the newsletter we will let you know about all the fun things happening at GPS. You will also receive emails from class reps with PFA information. So always be ready to see what's in store...

FIRST PFA MEETING FOR 2025

Wednesday 19th February, Senior Campus staff room 7.30pm. You don't have to be a class rep, you don't have to sign up for anything big, just come along, share ideas, have a laugh and help be a part of our amazing GPS community! Everyone is always welcome to these monthly meetings. 

ANNUAL WINE AND CHEESE NIGHT

Thursday 27th February 7.00pm, Courtyard, Senior Campus

Join us for our first event of the year, a calendar highlight!

FAMILY PHOTO SESSION

Saturday 1st March Due to such overwhelming success, we are hosting a professional photographer at GPS again this year to take some amazing photos of your family. The session is 15 minutes per family and the cost is $30. For this you receive one amazing digital image. The whole $30 comes to school!

JOIN THE DOGS (Dads of Gardenvale School) 

To welcome the new dads for 2025 and catch up with the old ones too.

7pm Thursday 6th March at Hotel Brighton.

A great chance to have a casual catch up and drink.  All welcome.

GPS FAMILY WEEKEND GETAWAY

From the big school holidays to the next.. time to book in.. Join us for the second time... GPS Family Weekend Getaway on 24th- 26th October.  Big 4 Yarra Valley, only 1 hr from home. Tents, caravans, cabins, glamping available. You need to book by 1st March. Book directly with the caravan park!

CLASS REPS 2025

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to do this for 2025. Just want to remind everyone that anyone can organise a class catch up, anyone can send a reminder- we are all crazy busy and the more we do for each other the more fun life is!! The reps have volunteered to help pass messages from school to home but we are all in this together. Please put your hand up to help.. reach out- we always need more hands! Thank you to the following amazing class reps for 2025...

VOLUNTEERING FOR 2025

As in previous years to help out at school you need to have a WWCC and complete the volunteer form on Compass. Please complete if you haven't already or if you are new to the school parent.

This is compulsory to help out at any school event, eg the walkathon, disco or classroom reading. Please help us by providing a copy of your WWCC to the office after completing the form.
