Vinnies Giving Tree

As we enter the joyful season of Advent, our school community is coming together to share the love and hope of Christmas. As is our tradition at Our Lady Star of the Sea, we are supporting the St. Vincent de Paul Society’s Christmas Appeal, which helps bring joy to families who may otherwise go without during this special time. 

How Can You Help? 

By donating pantry items suitable for Christmas hampers eg. pasta & sauce, beans, soup, tinned fruit, hot chocolate, lollies, tinned meats, canned veggies, long life milk, biscuits, crackers, chocolates and lollies. Please bring your donations to the school by Wednesday 11th December. Our Year 5 Social Justice team will then work with members of the parish to make Christmas hampers.

This appeal is a wonderful opportunity for our community to live out the values of compassion and generosity. We encourage you to talk with your child about the importance of giving and please donate if you are able.
