Community Project One 2025

'A Tapestry of our World'

At the end of last year, our educators mapped out our four project threads for the beginning of this school year. This is the beginning of our biannual sequence of inquiries. Our first project is called, ‘A Tapestry of our World’ and is exploring the concept of diversity. As we explore this concept, the Geography curriculum and Intercultural capability will be underpinning our pathway.

As we launch into this project, we would like to ask all families to reflect on their or their family’s favourite place and complete a sheet that has been sent home with your children.

Some questions to reflect on:

  • Where is your place? Describe the characteristics of a place?
  • How and why is your family connected to your place?
  • What makes this place special?
