Scholastic Update

The power of reading is remarkable. Whether gaining knowledge from non-fiction and academic texts or exploring the world of stories, giving a book to a child is an investment that delivers lasting benefits.

Book Club Issue 4 is on the way, featuring a fantastic selection of titles. An added benefit of the program is that the school receives 15% of every purchase made by our community. This is a valuable resource, allowing the library to purchase hundreds of new books at no cost to the school budget.

Following the success of Issue 3, the school received $135 thanks to your support. This brings our total for the year to $892. This achievement is possible because our community continues to support the Book Club platform. From the library team and the school, thank you. We appreciate your ongoing dedication to helping our library grow.

Volunteer Spotlight

Last week, we highlighted the efforts of the lovely Ms Suu Ann Yan and her amazing contributions to our library. This week, we shift our focus to our wonderful Monday Team.

This dedicated group is made up of Marever, Sally, and Anh. From the day they started, they have shown incredible passion for the library. Best of all, they do it all with huge smiles. As soon as the returns hit the counter, these ladies work as a seamless unit, scanning and redistributing books to the shelves with plenty of laughter along the way. Always willing to assist with any task, Mr Matthews and Ms Lee know the library is in good hands when they are in.

Please join the library team in thanking these lovely volunteers for their hard work and dedication.
