Harmony Day

On Friday 29 May, our school community came together to celebrate Harmony Day with a vibrant and engaging event that highlighted the rich cultural diversity of our students and families. The day featured outstanding student performances that showcased talent, courage and pride in cultural heritage, while also inspiring curiosity and learning about different traditions and perspectives. A shared lunch brought everyone together to enjoy a wonderful variety of cuisines from around the world, reinforcing the importance of community, respect and belonging. It was a fantastic celebration of the many cultures that make our school community so special.

National Simultaneous Storytime

Our primary students once again participated in the National Simultaneous Storytime, which took place on Wednesday 27 May at 12:00pm. This year's book is Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller.

Cheer for Luna Roo as she finds her inner strength on the field in this energetic underdog story. Rookie captain Luna Roo leaves nothing on the pitch as she leads FC Outback in a thrilling face‑off against Bush United. Faced with a spider goalkeeper, snakes in attack and bubbling nerves, Luna must trust her skills and her teammates to soar to victory.

Written by football veterans Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, Luna Roo captures all the intense excitement of the game, with a heartwarming message that courage and determination are a winning combination.

Education Support Day

We celebrated the wonderful work of our ES staff across the College last week. Our Grade 2/3 students showed their gratitude with personalised cards for our amazing office manager, Alana.

STEM

Over the past two weeks our students have participated in both the Big Science Competition and the Computational and Algorithmic Thinking (CAT) competition.

These competitions provide challenge and give students the opportunity to develop their problem-solving skills through algorithmic and scientific thinking.  Well done to all students who participated.

Reminders

Attitudes to School Survey

Students have completed the Attitudes to School Survey over the past few weeks, with over 90% participation. The Parent Survey will be distributed shortly, and we strongly encourage families to participate. We value both student and parent feedback as it helps shape future improvements.

Uniform

Please support the College by ensuring students attend school in the correct uniform. Positive relationships and consistent expectations help create a welcoming environment for both students and staff. When uniform becomes a repeated focus, it can detract from time spent supporting learning and wellbeing. If you require assistance, please contact your child’s Year Level Coordinator.

Ready to Learn

Students are generally well prepared for learning. The feedback from teachers continues to be laptops arriving uncharged. Please support your child by ensuring devices are charged overnight and ready for learning each day.

Thank you for your continued support.
