Camp
We had a wonderful time away at Camp Kookaburra on the 5th and 6th of September. The students had so much fun completing all the different activities at Camp, eating some awesome food (pancakes for breakfast!!!), getting lots of sleep (wink, wink) and spending time making memories they will cherish for years to come.
Many activities required the students to show lots of bravery, resilience, determination and teamwork, which was great to see the students step outside their comfort zones and up to challenge of the activities. Also, after lots of hype the students also got to learn how to play Gaga Ball and now, we can’t wait for our own Gaga pit to go in at school.
We would like to thank our amazing parent helpers Gabe Florence, Sophie Santoro and Laura Roache for coming with us and volunteering their time.
**Mr. Brown has a sleeping bag left in his classroom. If your child came home without a sleeping bag, please see Mr. Brown.
Reconciliation
Last Friday, our Year 3 students participated in the sacrament of Reconciliation and showed beautiful reverence and remorse for their sins throughout the ceremony. Congratulations on this special step in your faith journey. We look forward to watching you continue your sacramental journey next year.
Athletics Day
Our students showed fantastic participation and sportsmanship in our annual Athletics Day. The students ran, jumped, threw and cheered their socks off which was great to see. We congratulate our MLC students who will head to Division Athletics in the coming weeks.
