Foundation Learning Community

We cannot believe that we are at the end of Term 3. The last 10 weeks have flown. The children have progressed so much with their learning in this short amount of time.

We are very proud of all the children for participating in their first school athletics day. We had lots of fun completing the events and showed fantastic sportsmanship all day. We are also very proud of the children who chose to audition for the St. Joey's has talent.

We loved seeing the children from Punt Road Kindergarten come across for a visit and a play with us.

On Wednesday, we went to weekday mass. The children participated beautifully, answering Fr Junjun's questions and joining in with the prayers and songs. We even managed to get a selfie with Father.

We were also lucky enough to be the audience members for some of our school's 'Drumbeat' performers!

This week the children participated in an Emergency Services incursion. The one take away that all of these Emergency Service workers strongly encouraged was for each child to know their exact home address and if possible, a nearby crossroad. We hope that your child never has to call 000, but this is a very important and easy lifesaving skill.

Next term will be a very busy term with lots of different things happening so PLEASE ensure you are checking the newsletter and the 'What's on for the week' post on the School's Facebook page.
