Admin Corner

Welcome back to another edition of the Admin Corner!  How quickly this year has flown by.

I would like to remind you of the following: 

Zooper Doopers 

We are delighted to announce the return of our much-loved Zooper Dooper icy poles sales to students at GWPS!

Commencing in Week 3, students from Prep-Year 2 will be able to purchase their Zooper Dooper icy poles on Wednesdays, and Years 3-6 students on Fridays until the end of term.

 Zooper Doopers cost 50 cents each, with a maximum of 2 per child.

This fundraising effort provides a refreshing treat for the children and contributes to the enhancement of our school facilities. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

Sun Smart Hats   

As we are now in Term 4 and the weather is warming up, all students are required to wear Sun Smart hats (that cover the ears and neck) during recess, lunch breaks and outdoor sport and PE lessons, to protect their skin from the rising UV levels. If forgotten, your child will be required to remain in the shade of the stage during outside play times.

If your child does not own a GWPS sun smart hat they are available for purchase from our uniform shop each Monday between 8.30am – 10.30am or Wednesday from 2.00pm – 4.00pm. Alternatively, they can be purchased online.  Simply head to www.glenps.vic.edu.au.

As always, we ask that you please clearly label your child’s hat (and belongings) with their full name and class, to ensure any lost items are promptly returned to their owner. This will help to reduce the number of unnamed articles in our lost property box.
