STEM Update

Over the term grade 2/3 and 3/4 have been exploring the engineering process of plan, design, create, test and evaluate. After exploring the forces that act on objects in flight the students participated in an egg drop challenge. 

The students had to design a parachute and a container that would prevent an egg from cracking when it was dropped from the top of the playground. Last week all students were able to test their designs and see if their egg survived. Luckily most of the eggs were very well protected.
