Student Learner Agency Reflections

As the end of Term 3 approaches, your child’s Student Learner Agency reflection will be posted onto Seesaw before the end of Term. This student led piece of communication will provide you with an insight into the thoughts of your child in relation to their learning at this time of the year. Learner Agency reflections compliment a Student Semester Report available in June and December that is composed by the teachers. 

Learner Agency Reflections will allow our students to think about what they have achieved and give consideration to areas that they would like to continue to develop into the future. Being able to have an acknowledgement of your own achievements and an understanding of future directions is a key skill for any learner. 

As students become invested in their own learning, they gain a better understanding of what good learning is and the purpose of it. This enables them to evaluate their own work, and to more purposefully discuss progress and achievement with their teachers.

It is a great opportunity for parents/carers to check in with your children and to discuss their learning to this point of the year.
