Together we will study a Chapter from the book, ‘Reducing Stress and Finding Peace’, Patrick Collins CM. We are hoping this will help to support your wellbeing.
We will reflect on the book ‘Reducing Stress and Finding Peace’, and an audio series of talks to unpack what stress is, the impact of stress on our health, experiencing burn-out and other topics such as:

Since the beginning of the year each class has been given a relax and meditation time in the Church.
We have learned a relaxation technique specifically for children called the, “Little Red Bus.” It’s an imaginary Explorer Bus, a bit like the Sydney Explorer Bus that travels around our city, except this Explorer Bus is in our imagination and it travels around our body. It’s a basic body scan that relaxes the body through concentration, breathing and present moment practices.
Hit the link and learn Christian meditate using the mantra called Mar-an-ar-tha.
In Term 4, we will introduce another simple relaxation technique called Belly-breathing. Parents are invited to join with their children on Fridays at 2.45pm.
