Dear Parents,
Welcome back to the final term for the 2024 school year. It is set to be a wonderful term with all of the planned Term 4 activities including swimming, beach days, Christmas activities and many other engaging activities.
We continue to have a high focus on our Literacy and Numeracy and ensuring every student reaches their full potential and the highest academic standard possible.
We will also have a high priority on behaviour with a focus on respect and on our theme of Be Kind Be You! Caring for self, others and the world.
Respect is at the base of all that occurs- respect for self, respect for others and respect for the environment. We have the highest of expectations for our students and ask them to be respectful, encouraging and inspiring.
RESPECTFUL- Love one another as I have loved you (John 13:34)
ENCOURAGING- Encourage one another and build one another up ( Thessalonians 5:11)
INSPIRING- Let your light shine before others so they may see your great work (Matthew 5:16 )
Please see our Positive Behaviour, child safety and wellbeing policies. Please do not hesitate to make an appointment if you would like to discuss any aspect of your child’s wellbeing or behaviour.
Child safety and wellbeing policy
Anti bullying policy including cyberbullying
Finally, we pray for world peace in this present climate and for all who are suffering or in war torn countries. October is mission month with a focus on helping end homelessness in Australia by increasing the impact of our services and working in partnership to ensure everyone in our world has their basic needs met with a focus on strengthening communities through tailored approaches for long-term positive change.
In our school we look to Mary Mackillop for inspiration with the work she did to always do all she could to assist and love every person she met.
Yours in Partnership,
Gab
