Year Four

Dear Year Four Families,

Dear Year 4 Families,

What an incredible week it has been! Our Year 4 students have just returned from their very first school camp, and we couldn’t be prouder of their resilience, bravery, and enthusiasm throughout the entire experience.

From the moment we arrived, the students embraced every activity with energy and excitement. They soared through the sky on the giant swing and the flying fox, showing great courage as they took on these exhilarating challenges. There were big smiles and cheers all around as they zoomed down the flying fox and swung high into the air.

In addition to the adventurous activities, the students also enjoyed more relaxed moments, such as cooking marshmallows by the campfire. It was lovely to see them unwind, laugh, and share stories while toasting their marshmallows to perfection! Many archers also impressed us during our archery sessions, showing fantastic focus and perseverance as they aimed for the bullseye.

To top it all off, the camp ended with a magical ride on Puffing Billy. The excitement on their faces was priceless as we chugged through the trees, taking in the beautiful scenery. It was a fitting finale to what has been an unforgettable week for all.

Throughout the camp, the students demonstrated incredible teamwork, looking out for one another and stepping out of their comfort zones. It was heartwarming to see friendships deepen as they worked together, encouraged each other, and created lasting memories.

For many of the students, this was their first time away from home for an extended period, and we are so proud of how well they coped with this new experience. There were a few moments of homesickness, as to be expected, but the students showed great maturity and quickly settled into camp life.

We hope they have come home with wonderful stories to share and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for your continued support in making this camp such a positive experience for the students.
