End of Semester 1 reports have been emailed last week. Students received a printed copy this week along with Yr 7 and 9 students NAPLAN reports. Semester 1 results should form the basis of their goal setting for Term 3. This goal setting is particularly important as students cumulative Term 3 achievements are the foundation for Awards Night recognition in Term 4.

Parents are reminded that their Parent Login will not work if the school has the same email address for multiple parents. Please contact the school office to update your contact details or request support to access Daymap.
Yr 11 SET Plan Reviews
The start of Semester 2 also means that there is a small window of opportunity for Yr 11 students to re-consider subject choices and post Yr 12 pathways. If students are currently not successful in their chosen pathway, a SET plan review is an opportunity to discuss subject changes or post school options. Please contact the office if you’d like to organise a SET plan review for your student with Mr Beacham.
Timetable Changes
The start of Term will mean some staffing and class changes for some students. Firstly, we welcome back Ms Miller who returns from leave and welcome Ms Bambling who joins our teaching staff as a Maths teacher. Also, Yr 10 students begin ‘preparatory’ subjects for Yr 11 English, Maths and Science, and Yr 7 and 8 students change to their second elective choice.
While staff changes are inevitable, we continue to encourage you to discuss the importance of students showing respect to all adults in the school, particularly relief staff. It is a difficult time with many staff and their families with illness which makes relief teachers invaluable in being able to provide a continuity of curriculum for students. When students value and respect the teacher in front of the class, regardless of who it is, respectful relationships and productive learning environments flourish.
