Year 1 News

Dear Families,

What a wonderful Term 2 we have had so far!

We’re excited to share that our Year 1 students have started a buddy program with the Year 4 classes. Through fun activities and games, the children are getting to know each other and building their confidence together. This is a wonderful opportunity for our younger students to make new friends and feel more comfortable in school. We look forward to seeing their friendships grow throughout the year!

This term, we have also been focusing on Visible Wellbeing, a new part of our curriculum that helps children develop the language to talk about their feelings and personal strengths. Students are learning to recognise and celebrate what makes them unique, while building confidence and resilience.

We would like to thank you for your continued support as we help our Year 1 students grow, learn, and thrive.
