🎓Careers

What’s Happening in Careers?
Year 10
All of the PowerPoints are available on the Year 10 portal and have been sent home via email. Hopefully, the boys have a good idea of their options and have done some thinking about what pathway they want to pursue.
Year 11
If students are considering course changes, they should make an appointment to speak to Mr Anderson.
Year 12
On Friday, August 8, all of the WA universities will be at Mazenod to have individual conversations with the Year 12s about course options.
The boys will have 15 minutes with the university counsellor. They may book meetings with as many of the universities as they like, so if they are undecided, they should make the most of this opportunity.
TISC
TISC is now open.
The boys have had one presentation on the application process and how their ATAR results are determined. Following the exams there will be a second session where I will walk them through the application process. However, if they have further questions they should seek help from the Careers team.
Registration is online and a fee of $95 is payable before they can set up their preferences. These preferences can be changed as many times as they like before the offers round.
Notre Dame University Young Achievers Early Offer Program!
Students can also apply directly to Notre Dame for an Early Offer through their Young Achievers Early Offer Program. Please complete a program application via their online application form. For Curtin, ECU, Murdoch and UWA, your TISC application is your early offer application, subject to closing dates. If your first TISC preference is eligible for an early offer, the application will be assessed. These universities will make early offers on set dates. Refer to the TISC calendar for specific dates.
Check out the website Early Offer | Notre Dame or speak to Mr Tuohy for more details.
University Information
The universities have all listed their Open Days Register using these links and plan your day so you can make the most of the offerings. It is really important that the boys get on campus and ask lots of questions before they make final decisions.
